This project involved the construction of a new approximately 4,500-square-foot, five-story mixed-use building located at 1322 O Street in the City of Sacramento. The development consists of approximately 45 affordable apartment housing units, ground-floor retail space, and associated residential amenity and utility areas. The 0.24-acre site is located midblock between 13th Street and 14th Street, directly adjacent to O Street to the north and Opera Alley to the south. The project required demolition of the existing state-owned event space building and parking lot to accommodate the new infill development.

Cartwright services included preliminary civil engineering site plan, preparation of a preliminary sewer study, civil construction documents for on-site and off-site improvements, coordination meetings with City engineering staff, and bidding and construction-phase assistance.
