The project was to construct a new approximately 4,500 square foot, 5-story mixed use building located at 1322 O Street in the City of Sacramento. The project consisted of approximately 45 affordable housing apartment units and ground floor retail space with residential amenity and utility areas. The site is directly adjacent to O Street to the north, Opera Alley to the south, and is located midblock between 13th Street and 14th Street. The site was state owned property consisting of a small event space building and parking lot and is approximately 0.24 acres in size. The existing parking lot and building were removed as part of this project. Cartwright services included preliminary civil engineering, preliminary sewer study, civil construction documents which included on-site and off-site, meetings with city engineering staff, and bidding/construction assistance.
