This project involves landside improvements at the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) to accommodate increased passenger and vehicular ground transportation demands. The project includes the construction of a new Exit Road beginning near Terminal A in the northeast portion of the airport, guiding vehicles onto a multi-lane roadway that runs west alongside Lindbergh Drive to improve airport egress.

Cartwright is working in collaboration with Arup US, Inc. on the design of this project. Cartwright’s services include design of the Exit Road up to the roundabout on Airport Blvd, clearing and demolition, erosion control, site geometry, grading and drainage, roadways, storm drainage network, signage and striping, pedestrian walkways, and coordination with airport agencies.
