This project involves the development of an approximately 61,000-square-foot, five-story mixed-use building located at 1600 Broadway in the City of Sacramento. The proposed development consists of apartment units over ground-floor commercial space and 2 surface parking lots for residential and commercial users. The project is intended to efficiently utilize the 1.1-acre site while supporting new residential and commercial uses. The site was the historic flagship location of the iconic tower records.
Cartwright services included entitlement phase services, on-site and off-site design development, drainage report, preliminary sewer study, construction documents, off-site civil improvement plans, street light plan, revocable encroachment permit processing, permit assistance, construction administration, public easement vacations, new public easement review, lot line adjustment, and preparation of private easement legal descriptions.
