This project involved construction of a new 236,408-square-foot, six-story mixed-use building located on a vacant 1.2-acre site at 1717 S Street in the City of Sacramento. The development includes 159 apartment units and 11,376 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Frontage improvements included new curb, gutter, and sidewalk across the entire project, alley reconstruction and 2 new intersections bulb-outs with accessible ramps.
Cartwright services included boundary and topographic surveying, a lot merger, preliminary civil engineering design, and bidding and separate on-site and off-site construction documents. We also provided construction-phase assistance and processed a revocable encroachment permit through the City for project approval.
