CARTWRIGHT NOR CAL is a local civil engineering firm that established a presence in Sacramento almost 10 years ago. The firm’s successful track record with a repeat client was the catalyst for expanding into the Northern California market. Believing in the importance of building strong client relationships, we sought out and acquired key staff that bring with them solid relationships and experience with local public agencies. Our Project Managers have a combined 75+ years of experience throughout the State of California. Our relationships are built on trust, honesty, and dedication to projects.
The management style of Cartwright Nor Cal is based on listening to client needs, acting as an extension of client staff for seamless communication, developing an excellent work product, and gaining a level of trust earned through successful project execution. Having worked with many cities and public agencies in the past, we understand there is a defined process for project delivery, and we are able to adapt to those requirements. We make every effort to understand what is most important to the client on every project, outside of the stated goals and objectives. This helps us to clearly identify project expectations, establish product deliverables and set project schedules. We strive to identify costly or troublesome areas in a project and work with you, the client, to best resolve them.
In our previous work with clients, we have found that having open lines of communication, being available and responsive, has built lasting relationships. At Cartwright Nor Cal, the process begins with an assessment of the client’s needs, including budget and schedule. We extensively research and assist our clients through the initial Feasibility Stage. Next, we provide guidance and support through the CEQA and Entitlement Phase. After Entitlements, the design begins and ends with Construction Documents suitable for bidding and construction. Throughout this process our internal QA/QC process is applied.
